Laurence J. Hagerty, President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Hagerty is responsible for all aspects of MedAptus’ daily operations, including sales and marketing, development, implementation, support and finance. A seasoned executive, he first joined MedAptus as a member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Hagerty’s experience with healthcare and information industry growth companies spans two decades, including 16 years with Medstat. He first served as the company’s president and chief operating officer, and later as president and chief executive officer after acquisition by Thomson in 1994. Under his leadership, Medstat – a leading supplier of analytical and benchmark databases, decision support solutions, and research services for all sectors of the healthcare industry – built an exceptional track record of revenue and earnings growth. More recently, Mr. Hagerty was president of RLPTechnolgies, a technology subsidiary of R.L. Polk & Co., the market-leading automotive industry information company. He has also held management positions at The Carroll Group, Hoover Universal, Gould, and Arthur Andersen & Co.
Mr. Hagerty holds an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College and is a graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
