MedAptus Announces Consecutive Record Quarter for Sales

Company adds 21 new clients in the Second Quarter

Boston, MA - July 18, 2003 - MedAptus, a leading provider of point-of-care solutions for physicians, today announced the completion of a record quarter for both new sales and new contracted physicians.

"We continued to build on the momentum from the first quarter and have added another 21 accounts during our second quarter. "We expect to continue the trend that we have seen in the first half of the year."

The second quarter brought in a new group of hospital sites, including University Physician Associates of New Jersey, Inc. (UPA) and McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina. The company also continued its expansion, adding clients in eleven new states.
