Boston, MA - March 25, 2003 - MedAptus has announced the formation of the MedAptus Clinician Advisory Board in response to an evolving product portfolio and rapidly expanding user base. The core mission of the Advisory Board is to guide the MedAptus team in meeting the core objective of creating indispensable tools for physicians and their practices. The Board was selected from the MedAptus user base and represents multi-specialty groups ranging from 75 to over 500 physicians.
The group was chosen because of their propensity for leadership within their given provider organizations. Many have pioneered the use of point-of-care tools and articulate their value to colleagues. According to Lance Baldo, MD, Chief Medical Officer of MedAptus “These physicians represent not only leaders in medicine, but also leaders in technology and innovation. I look forward to a long, valuable partnership between MedAptus and the Clinician Advisory Board.”
Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts has nominated Dr. Paresh Shah, Staff Surgeon and Director of Healthcare Information Technology, to the Advisory Board. “Working with MedAptus to develop, refine and deliver point-of-care solutions provides the Advisory Board with an opportunity to shape the direction of healthcare information technology. The practical application of these solutions enables clinicians to provide a level of care and efficiency previously unattainable."
