EUGENE C. SCHNEIDER
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Schneider has direct responsibility for all MedAptus business operations. A seasoned executive with over 25 years of executive management experience in healthcare information, software and services, Mr. Schneider began working with MedAptus in 2010 in a consulting capacity. Prior to joining MedAptus he was the Chief Operating Officer at MDS, a privately-held healthcare revenue cycle services company. Mr. Schneider also served as Chief Executive Officer at HealthAnswers, a pharmaceutical industry information services provider; Senior Vice President at Ingenix (now Optum); Executive Vice President and General Manager at Medstat (now Truven Health Analytics); and as Partner at Ernst & Young, where he was the National Director for Insurance Technology Services.
Mr. Schneider holds a BS degree from Western Illinois University.
RYAN SECAN, MD MPH
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Secan is responsible for guiding MedAptus’ communications with its physician user base as well as the clinical aspects of the company’s products and services. He is currently a practicing hospitalist at Emerson Hospital in Concord, Massachusetts. Dr. Secan has previous experience serving as medical director of hospitalist programs at two Massachusetts hospitals and has also led the deployment of mobile computing in the hospital setting. Dr. Secan holds a B.A. from the University of Rochester, and received his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and later went on to obtain a Master of Public Health degree from Harvard University. Dr. Secan is board certified in internal medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians as well as the Society of Hospital Medicine.
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Baglio is responsible for overseeing the development, quality assurance, infrastructure, and interface teams at MedAptus. Prior to MedAptus, he was the CTO and Senior Vice President of Engineering at lifeIMAGE where he oversaw the teams that built a HIPAA-compliant, SaaS multi-tenant cloud for sharing patient radiology images. Mr. Baglio also served as the Chief Architect on the Massachusetts NewMMIS project, a project dubbed by the press so technically complex that it would make “an MIT engineer sweat.” Additionally the MMIS project has been nationally recognized as a highly successful IT implementation.
Mr. Baglio has BS Degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Computer Science from U Mass – Lowell.
Vice President, Product Management
Mr. Nottingham’s has over 20 years of experience in healthcare technology. Before coming to MedAptus to lead the company’s product management area, Dan successfully launched several new products into the healthcare market – these include ILLUMINATE for the transition of care (ABILITY Network), Cortext for secure mobile messaging (Imprivata), and Kronos Mobile for nurse scheduling/staffing (Kronos). Mr. Nottingham also spent time with McKesson Corporation and Codman Research Group where he helped to define and create healthcare analytic products based on claims data. Before launching a career in healthcare technology, Mr. Nottingham was a staff scientist at Boston University’s Center for Space Physics.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Dudley brings to Medaptus more than 20 years experience as CFO in both publicly traded and venture-backed emerging-growth companies. As a founding CFO partner at Venture Advisors, he has been instrumental in securing capital and driving scalable best-in-class business practices and standards for a broad range of emerging growth companies since 2004. Prior to Venture Advisors, Bob served as CFO of Inso Corporation, a $70 million publicly traded enterprise Software Company. He also had a successful career at Data General, where he was CFO of a $625 million multi-national operating division. Bob began his career at Johnson & Johnson as an M&A Analyst.
Mr. Dudley holds an MBA from Suffolk University and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
